Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax - Local Service Experts to join onsite teams in TurboTax locations across the United States.

You will provide full-service tax preparation, expert advice, and software support, while collaborating with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to deliver a seamless, end-to-end Intuit experience. You will be a trusted guide for clients, helping with personal and business tax needs, deductions, and planning, and you will grow the local TurboTax

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit uniforms and be used in advertising materials.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - build and grow a new local customer base through outreach and events.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Build Relationships - turn one-time transactions into long-term client relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - ensure professionalism and client satisfaction across in-person and virtual interactions.
