Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team in a new TurboTax location across the United States. This on-site role blends tax expertise, community engagement, and customer service to help clients navigate tax needs and build lasting relationships.

As a Local Service Expert, you will provide hands-on tax preparation, connect clients with Intuit ecosystem services, and grow the local client base through outreach and events.

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per season.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training from Intuit.
• Must be onsite 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Mon–Fri, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador, identify prospects, and grow the local client base.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Deliver end-to-end Intuit experience with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Build relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience across in-person and virtual channels.
