Job summary

Intuit seeks motivated individuals to join as TurboTax Local Service Experts at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide on-site tax expertise, complete returns, and connect clients with the broader Intuit ecosystem.

You will build local client relationships, participate in community events, and deliver an end-to-end TurboTax experience with support from marketing tools.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax prep software; familiarity with Circular 230.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador by growing a local client base through outreach and events.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, planning) to address needs.
• Build relationships and trust to convert one-time transactions into long-term engagements.
• Work on-site 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 20+ hours/week; participate in training and adhere to branding/advertising guidelines.
