Job summary

Intuit's TurboTax Local Service Experts deliver tax expertise and client service at new TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax advice, complete returns, and help clients maximize refunds while building a local client base through events and outreach.

We seek Enrolled Agents, CPAs, or Attorneys with tax prep experience, PTIN, and a willingness to grow into additional services. Onsite hours are 8:00–5:00, M–F, with 20+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must reside onsite at a TurboTax office; 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Monday–Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and consent to use of name/photo for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Utilize resources such as government websites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - build a new local customer base through outreach and partnerships.
• Own your market—pursue prospects via grass-roots marketing, referrals, and community events.
• Organize and lead local events such as financial literacy workshops and networking gatherings.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients to additional services like bookkeeping and payroll.
• Build relationships and deliver best-in-class customer experience.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit video tools; address inquiries and tax challenges.
