Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team in a Tax location across the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax advice and full preparation services for TurboTax clients, both in-person and virtually, while coordinating with a broader team of specialists to deliver end-to-end Intuit service. You’ll grow TurboTax’s client base locally, build relationships, and leverage marketing tools to create opportunities for community engagement and brand

Qualifications

• Enrolled Agent, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax prep software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, minimum 20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete required training and comply with company requirements, including advertising usage.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, including simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and plan for future tax.
• Be a proactive community ambassador and drive local growth through outreach and events.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience with in-person and video interactions, addressing inquiries and tax challenges.
