Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team. You will provide hands-on tax preparation and tax planning support at a TurboTax location, serving in-person and virtual clients while coordinating with a broader advisory team.

You will grow the local client base, participate in community activities, and leverage Intuit marketing tools to deliver a seamless end-to-end experience for diverse taxpayers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state Form 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training from Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office in the U.S. during standard hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) for at least 20 hours/week; training and expectations may change.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use name/picture for advertising; interest in building a local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimise liabilities, and provide future planning advice.
• Connect clients with the Intuit ecosystem (bookkeeping, payroll, planning) to address needs and deliver year-round support.
• Grow the local TurboTax client base through community outreach, events, and partnerships with marketing support.
