Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team at a U.S. location.

You will perform full-service tax return prep, offer tax advice, and support software use for both in-person and virtual clients. You will connect clients to a broader team, help grow the local business, and act as the local face of TurboTax through outreach, events, and partnerships, delivering end-to-end, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Attorney with tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willingness to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily 20+ hours/week during peak times.
• Must complete required training and wear Intuit uniforms; possible public advertising.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; experience in holistic tax advisory services is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Collaborate with a broader team of specialists in business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Grow TurboTax client base locally through outreach, grass-roots marketing, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Serve as the local face of TurboTax and organize events to build brand awareness and customer engagement.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience in-person and via video tools, addressing client inquiries and tax-related challenges.
