Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team in a hands-on, on-site role. You will provide tax expertise, complete returns, and guide clients through complex tax scenarios while coordinating with a cross-functional team of specialists.

You will also drive local growth, build relationships, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience using TurboTax tools and marketing support.

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax prep software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients across personal and business scenarios.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow a local TurboTax client base with outreach and events.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build lasting relationships to turn one-time transactions into multi-year engagements.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience through in-person and video interactions.
