Job summary

Intuit seeks dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States, delivering full-service tax return preparation and expert tax advice. You will liaise with a team of specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to provide an end-to-end Intuit experience for each client.

You will grow the local TurboTax client base, lead community outreach, and collaborate with TurboTax marketing resources to build lasting

Qualifications

• EA/CPA or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, 20+ hours/week, Monday–Friday.
• Must complete training and development as required by the business including compliance and proficiency-based up-skilling.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms.
• Must be willing to use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert per policy.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise – give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador – actively build and grow a new local customer base, identify prospects, and lead local events with marketing support.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem – connect clients with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build Relationships – develop trust to convert transactions into long-term client relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience – ensure professionalism and help clients achieve financial goals through in-person and video interactions.
