Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide comprehensive tax preparation, expert advice, and software support while engaging with clients in person and virtually.

You’ll collaborate with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to deliver a seamless Intuit experience, building long-term client relationships and contributing to local community growth.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, at least 20 hours per week; hours may scale during peak season.
• Willing to complete all required training and development; training requirements may change.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and be used in advertising with consent.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert; creating tax-related content per Intuit’s policies.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise: give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: grow local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem: connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning and other Intuit solutions.
• Build Relationships: develop long-term trust and convert consultations into ongoing client relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience: ensure professionalism and client outcomes aligned with Intuit standards.
