Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide in-person and virtual tax services at a local TurboTax location in the United States. You will deliver full-service tax preparation, client advisory, and community outreach, becoming the trusted local tax advisor and growing your client base.

You will collaborate with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning, using Intuit tools to deliver end-to-end service.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per tax season using professional software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training provided.
• Comfortable working onsite 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building local/online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow local TurboTax client base.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build lasting client relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Engage with customers in-person and via IntelliTuit video tools, addressing inquiries and tax challenges.
