Job summary

Intuit seeks TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States, delivering hands-on tax preparation and personalized advice to individuals and small businesses while coordinating with specialists.

You will build local relationships, drive client growth, and provide end-to-end tax support using TurboTax tools and marketing resources, with a community-first mindset and a focus on exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040s per season using professional tax prep software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM M–F, at least 20 hours per week.
• Must complete all required training and development.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and be used in advertising with your name/photo.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing allowed.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Build long-term client relationships and deliver an end-to-end Intuit experience.
• Ensure a best-in-class customer experience across in-person and video interactions.
