Job summary

Intuit is seeking Tax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation and advisory services at TurboTax locations across the United States. You will engage in local growth, community events, and close collaboration with a network of specialists to deliver end-to-end TurboTax experiences.

Roles emphasize onsite work, strong client relationships, and expansion of services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax prep experience and tax law knowledge.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or business tax advisory with training.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, at least 20 hours/week; may scale up.
• Willing to complete training and development; cross-training may be required.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and appear in advertising using name/picture.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, from simple to complex scenarios.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow local TurboTax client base and establish relationships.
• Connect clients to Intuit ecosystem solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build relationships and turn single transactions into long-term client partnerships.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional and empathetic service.
