Job summary

Intuit seeks dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States, delivering hands-on tax preparation and personalized advice. You will collaborate with a team of specialists to address a client’s full financial picture, from simple W‑2 filings to complex scenarios, while growing the local client base.

You’ll engage customers in person and via Intuit’s video tools, driving loyalty and cross-selling services like bookkeeping and payroll.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 20+ hours/week.
• Must complete training and development; cross-training of other products or offerings.
• Must wear uniforms; consent to advertising with name/photo.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence; creating tax tips/content.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to grow local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Bridge clients with the Intuit ecosystem, connecting them to bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.
• Build relationships with clients to convert transactions into long-term engagements.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience with professional, helpful guidance across in-person and virtual channels.
