Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide on-site tax preparation and advisory services at local TurboTax locations across the United States. You will work with clients in person and virtually, delivering expert tax advice and coordinating with specialists for a complete financial picture.

You will grow the local client base, participate in community outreach, and leverage Intuit tools to offer year-round support beyond tax filing.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00–17:00 local time, 20+ hours/week.
• Must complete all training and development as required by the business, including uniforms and advertising.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, from simple to complex scenarios.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow local TurboTax client base and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, planning) for year-round support.
• Build relationships to convert prospects into long-term clients and deliver excellent service.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional, empathetic guidance.
