Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at one of our TurboTax locations across the United States, delivering full-service tax return preparation, expert advice, and software support to both in-person and virtual clients.

You will collaborate with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services, grow the local client base, and represent the company in community outreach, events, and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.

Responsibilities

• Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Develop a deep understanding of clients' financial pictures and connect them with Intuit solutions.
• Build and grow a local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience in-person and via video tools.
