Job summary

Intuit is hiring on-site TurboTax Local Service Experts to deliver expert tax assistance and client service at a TurboTax location in the United States.

You will perform full-service tax preparation, provide tax guidance, and collaborate with specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services. The role emphasizes building local relationships and helping clients navigate complex tax scenarios with clarity and care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office location, typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, minimum 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex scenarios.
• Be a proactive community ambassador, building and growing a local client base and engaging with community partnerships.
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by connecting clients to bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as needed.
• Build relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Interact with clients in person and via Intuit’s video tools, enabling seamless end-to-end service.
