Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax advice and preparation at a TurboTax location in the United States.

You will work with a team of specialists to deliver end-to-end tax services, build a local client base, and represent Intuit in the community. You will engage in in-depth tax scenarios—from W-2s to complex business filings—while helping clients plan for future tax needs and leveraging Intuit resources for ongoing support.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/attorney with strong tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 20+ hours per week.
• Must be willing to complete training and wear Intuit uniforms.
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Be the connective tissue between clients and a broader team of specialists for end-to-end service.
• Lead local growth and attract new clients through outreach and community partnerships.
• Develop understanding of clients’ complete financial picture and connect them with Intuit solutions.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience in person and via video tools.
• Organize and participate in local events to raise brand awareness.
