Job summary

Intuit, Inc. in the United States seeks a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax advice, prepare returns, and connect clients with the full Intuit ecosystem. You will work on-site at a TurboTax location, helping individuals and businesses across the local community.

You will drive local growth, deliver personalized tax service, and collaborate with a team of tax professionals to create an end-to-end client experience while adhering to training and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Act as a local growth driver, identify prospects, and organize community events with marketing support.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma services.
• Build Relationships - Develop long-term trust and repeat business with clients.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Ensure professional service and helpful tax guidance in person and via video tools.
