Job summary

Intuit is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States, delivering hands-on tax preparation and expert guidance. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate personal and business tax needs while leveraging a team of specialists for broader services.

You’ll grow the local client base, lead community outreach, and co-create an end-to-end Intuit experience.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a local community ambassador, building and growing a new client base through outreach and partnerships.
• Develop understanding of clients' complete financial picture and connect them with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Build relationships with clients to create long-term, loyal engagements.
