Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to operate on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States. The role focuses on full-service tax return preparation, expert tax advice, and software support, with collaboration across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory teams.

You will build long-term relationships, grow the local client base, and leverage marketing tools to create a thriving local practice, delivering end-to-end Intuit experiences.

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, at least 20 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Grow local client base through outreach, grass-roots marketing, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning) to address needs.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in-person and via video tools.
