Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines in Lyndhurst, VA is seeking a safety-conscious driver to operate non-CDL straight trucks in freight transportation.

You will complete pre-trip inspections, ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations, load/unload cargo at customer sites, and maintain accurate records while delivering professional service.

Candidates must meet licensing, medical, and background checks and be able to work independently or with a team in various weather and road conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center/work assignment.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift (7500 lb. vehicle).
• Must be able to push/pull a loaded pallet jack and/or hand truck (70 lbs).
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam.
• Must pass a road test.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment safely per FMCSA and company rules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safe operation of tractor and trailer.
• Dock work to include loading/unloading freight as needed.
• Maintain required records and report maintenance issues promptly.
