Job summary

Estes Express is seeking a dependable driver for a non-CDL straight truck position in Virginia. You will operate the vehicle safely, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations while delivering freight to customer sites.

You must have a valid license, be within 75 miles of the Service Center, and pass medical, road tests, and drug screens. The role may involve dock work and varying schedules according to business needs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center and/or work assignment.
• Must pass a FMCSA medical exam.
• Must pass a road test.
• Ability to meet FMCSA English speaking and reading requirements.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate non CDL straight truck and required safety equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
• Load/unload freight at customer sites and docks as needed.
• Provide professional service to customers and the public.
• Adhere to safety rules and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Possibly operate in-cab electronics and work on varying schedules.
