Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Must be 21 years old for interstate routes; 1 year driving experience.
• Must possess a valid Class B or Class A CDL.
• Must be FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse compliant.
• Residence within 75 miles of domicile service center.
• Air brake endorsement required if equipped with air brakes.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift (7500 lb minimum).
• Must meet FMCSA medical exam and road test requirements.
• Ability to drive in various terrains and weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift ~70 lbs and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate safety-critical equipment and perform duties across terrains and conditions.
• Drive Class B CDL Straight Truck following FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal rules; report issues.
• Carry out pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Secure cargo and ensure trailer seals and paperwork match.
• Assist with dock work including loading/unloading freight as required.
• Attend to safety and operational procedures; stay on schedule.
