Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a reliable driver to operate a Non CDL Straight Truck and transport freight in compliance with FMCSA regulations. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, manage safety documentation, and ensure secure handling of hazardous materials when required.

Responsibilities include operating in diverse terrains, adhering to all safety guidelines, and supporting dock activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Must be able to read and understand safety rules and procedures.
• Must be able to lift ~70 lbs.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the assigned Service Center.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment safely to perform freight transport.
• Drive a Non CDL Straight Truck in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report deficiencies.
• Maintain compliance with hazardous materials transport requirements.
• Assist with loading/unloading freight at customer sites as needed.
• Provide professional service to customers and adhere to company policies.
