Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a safety‑minded truck driver to operate a tractor/trailer across diverse terrains, adhering to FMCSA regulations and company policies. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, manage cargo securely, and load/unload freight at customer sites with professional service.

Qualified applicants hold a Class A CDL, FMCSA Clearinghouse registration, HazMat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, and can pass medical and road tests.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
21 years of age per FMCSA regulations and 1 year driving experience.
Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center or work assignment.
Must be able to drive a tractor trailer per FMCSA requirements.
Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to lift approximately 70 lbs. and work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

Operate all types of equipment safely, including manual transmission and tire chaining.
Drive tractor/trailer for freight transport in compliance with FMCSA rules.
Maintain compliance records with local, state, and federal regulations.
Inspect vehicles pre-trip and post-trip for safe operation; report defects.
Load/unload freight at docks; provide courteous service to customers.
Possibly work on different schedules and dock shifts as needed.
May operate in-cab technology such as electronic logs.
