Job summary

Estes Express is seeking a professional CDL A driver to operate tractor-trailers for freight transport in adherence to FMCSA and company guidelines. The role includes pre-trip inspections, compliance with hazardous materials handling, and maintaining accurate logs and records.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age required per FMCSA regulations (1 year driving experience)
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required (LCV may apply)
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center and/or work assignment
• Must pass a FMCSA required medical exam and road test
• Must be able to meet FMCSA English language requirements

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer for freight transport in compliance with company, FMCSA, and local laws
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safe operation
• Maintain records in accordance with local, state and federal regulations
• Comply with safety, hazardous materials and DOT requirements during all trips
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and the public
• May assist with dock loading/unloading and other duties as needed
