Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a full-time CDL A driver to safely operate tractor-trailers and transport freight in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and ensure cargo security across diverse routes and environments. The role may involve dock work and loading/unloading freight, with emphasis on safety, reliability, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• 21+ years old with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center or work assignment.
• Able to lift ~70 lbs. and operate forklift or pallet jack as needed.
• Must comply with FMCSA rules, HAM/DOT regulations, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA and company regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records and logs; ensure paperwork matches unit numbers.
• Load/unload freight as needed and provide courteous customer service.
• Operate in various schedules and docks based on business needs.
