Job summary

TimbukTech in Washington is seeking an Account Manager to serve local small businesses, building strong relationships and delivering tailored IT strategies. You’ll collaborate with our tech team to translate client needs into actionable plans and quotes.

Ideal candidates have 2–5+ years in client management, strong communication, and a proactive, learning mindset. Local travel and on-site client visits are required to grow the business and support community clients.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years in account management, client/relationship management, sales, or customer service.
• IT/MSP experience is a bonus but not required.
• CRM experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary, go-to contact and voice for assigned local clients.
• Meet regularly (virtual and on-site) to discuss priorities and build tailored IT strategies.
• Lead quarterly reviews to assess progress and new needs.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers and tech experts for complex questions.
• Present quotes and recommendations for hardware, software, security, and cloud.
• Visit clients in-person periodically to strengthen ties.
• Network at local events and Chamber meetings to grow connections.
• Track activities in the CRM to stay proactive.
