Job summary

TimbukTech Inc in Washington is seeking a dedicated account manager to build lasting relationships with local businesses. You’ll be the trusted advisor, translating client goals into practical IT plans and coordinating with our tech team to ensure success.

As the primary liaison, you’ll drive quarterly reviews, present tailored quotes, and grow the client base through on-site visits and local networking. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in account/relationship management.
• Basic tech understanding; training provided.
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through.
• Must reside near Washington; local travel to clients required.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for local clients, building rapport through daily communication.
• Meet with clients to discuss priorities and create tailored IT strategies.
• Lead quarterly reviews to celebrate progress and identify new needs.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers for complex technical questions.
• Present quotes for hardware, software, security, and cloud with team support.
• Visit clients on-site periodically to strengthen relationships.
• Network at local events to grow connections.
• Track activities in the CRM to stay proactive.
