Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a Pick & Prep associate to engage guests through product preparation, sampling, and storytelling about Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal, and Local offerings. You will operate the Pick & Prep area and maintain Lowes Foods standards of quality and sanitation while providing friendly service.

Responsibilities include demonstrating knife skills, handling product prep, ordering, stocking, making PA announcements, and performing all duties as assigned by management to ensure a standout

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to engage guests and provide cheerful service.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Familiar with Pick & Prep operations and knife skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage guests through product preparation, active sampling and suggestive selling.
• Demonstrate superior guest service and storytelling about products (Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal, Local).
• Demonstrate knife showmanship to highlight Pick & Prep services.
• Operate the Pick & Prep area according to merchandising and operational standards.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards and maintain sanitation and safety.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, merchandising and guest service as needed.
• Make PA announcements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
