Job summary

BlueLinx Corporation is seeking professional CDL class A drivers to securely load and deliver freight to customers across the Florida region. You will maintain DOT-compliant logs, handle returns, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries with professional service.

Qualifications

• Properly secure loads and ensure safety during transport.
• Minimum 21 years of age with a valid license.
• 12 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Safe driving record and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Ability to secure loads and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required

What You’ll Deliver
