Job summary

BlueLinx Corporation is seeking professional truck drivers to join our team in the United States. You will drive freight to customers, maintain DOT logs, and perform required inspections.

We offer competitive pay starting at $32.10 per hour, home nightly and on weekends, and modern equipment. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K, PTO, holidays, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Safe driving record with no major infractions.

• Properly secure loads (no tarping).
• Deliver freight accurately and timely; handle returns when required.

What You’ll Deliver

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required

How You’ll Deliver

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 21 years of age
• 12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years
• Safe Driving Record
• Ability to secure loads
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
