Job summary

Performance Food Group in Allentown, PA is seeking an entry level Driver Trainee to learn tractor trailer or straight truck routes, delivering and unloading food products to local customers. You will train and ride with a driver trainer, completing safety checks and DOT compliant paperwork.

After training, you can earn an average annual pay around $100,000 with competitive benefits and a 5-day work week on local/home daily routes. Training pay starts at $24 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain CDL-A if not already held.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years and pass post-offer drug test.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete Entry Level Driver Trainee training program.
• Rides-with and assists driver trainer in deliveries.
• Perform safety checks and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Drive to deliver customer orders on local routes.
• Unload products, obtain signatures, and secure freight.
