Performance Foodservice in United States is seeking a Driver Trainee for local routes. You will learn to operate tractor trailers or straight trucks, complete training, and support deliveries to customers while maintaining safety and accuracy in loading and paperwork.

The role offers a starting salary around $75,000+ per year, with a training period including minimum weekly pay of $1,100, boots/uniforms provided, and day-one health and wellness benefits.

Qualifications

• CDL-A or CDL-B license required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–6 months commercial driving experience acceptable.
• Must be 21+ and able to obtain/maintain DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Complete required training as a Driver Trainee or Dock-to-Driver.
• Ride with trainer and assist deliveries as directed.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT rules.
• Drive to deliver orders on schedule and unload at customer sites.
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork; ensure safety at all times.
• Follow DOT, safety and company guidelines during operations.
