Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) is seeking CDL-A delivery drivers in Allentown for overnight routes and local deliveries. You will ensure safe, timely transport of food products and keep customers satisfied.

During training, earn $1,500 per week with potential to reach about $100,000 per year. A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available for drivers with 1+ year of foodservice delivery experience, plus Day 1 benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license is required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess or obtain a DOT Health Card.
• Clear MVR for the past 3 years.
• Must pass post-offer drug testing.
• Must pass required road test.
• Able to lift and move product cases up to 90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Perform safety checks and vehicle inspections per DOT regulations.
• Deliver and unload food products on schedule to customers.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Complete required paperwork accurately for freight.
• Maintain daily logs of hours of service as required.

Education

12+ months driving experience

Valid CDL-A

21+ years old

DOT Health Card

Clean MVR (past 3 years)

Pass post offer drug test

Pass road test

Ability to lift 10-90 lbs
