Job summary

The Shelly Company is seeking a Local Class B CDL Driver in Ohio to safely operate and deliver ready-mixed concrete. You will work under a dispatcher/plant manager and handle deliveries to job sites with diverse loading/unloading points.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and adhering to OSHA/USDOT/FMCSA safety practices. Night and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; effectively present information.

Responsibilities

• Operate ready-mix concrete truck to deliver to construction sites safely and efficiently.
• Maintain communication with Dispatcher or Plant Manager during deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Keep the truck clean and assist with yard tasks as required.
• Follow OSHA and USDOT/FMCSA safe-operating practices and use PPE as directed.
• Read receipts and complete tickets with customer details.
