Job summary
KERO in Bakersfield, California is seeking an Account Executive, Local to connect local businesses with audiences across broadcast TV and digital platforms. You will craft customized campaigns that deliver measurable ROI and build strong relationships with clients and agencies.
Responsibilities include selling across TV and digital media, using ratings data for negotiation, and managing a sales funnel with CRM systems.
Qualifications
- BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience.
- Generally 2+ years of proven sales success preferred.
- Experience in strategic account management, broadcast ratings and digital execution preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company required insurance limits.
Responsibilities
- Sell advertising solutions to local and regional businesses and advertising agencies.
- Apply the SSP to analyze needs and apply customized advertising solutions that provide ROI.
- Facilitate the full array of digital marketing options beyond TV airtime.
- Prospect, secure appointments, perform needs analysis, develop solutions, present and close new business.
