American General Media (AGM) in Bakersfield is seeking a motivated Digital Marketing Account Executive to grow a local book of business through innovative digital advertising solutions. You will own your territory, build client relationships, and serve as a trusted marketing consultant for businesses in the Bakersfield market.

The role focuses on prospecting, needs assessments, and customized strategies across CTV/OTT, SEM, SEO, social, display, and more.

Qualifications

Minimum two years of experience in outside sales, media sales, digital advertising, marketing, or business development.
Proven ability to prospect, develop new business, and close sales.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Excellent relationship-building and consultative selling abilities.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Prospect and develop new business opportunities throughout the Bakersfield market.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
Conduct needs assessments to understand clients' business goals and marketing challenges.
Create customized digital marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.
Present proposals and close new business.
Develop and maintain long-term client relationships through exceptional customer service.
Monitor campaign performance and provide clients with recommendations and performance reviews.
Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue goals.
Represent AGM at community events, networking functions, and local business organizations.
Collaborate with radio Account Executives on integrated marketing opportunities while maintaining responsibility for your own client portfolio.
