Job summary

Sturdy Savings Bank is seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist II to support the servicing of residential, consumer, and commercial loans. Under supervision, you will book loans, process payments, and maintain loan files in the main computer system while complying with established procedures.

The role requires organizational and communication skills, confidentiality in handling documentation, and proficiency with loan systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of similar loan servicing experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with confidential documentation.
• Ability to interact via telephone with employees and consumers.
• Proficiency with basic computer programs and loan systems (Word, Excel, Access, Calyx, OCC APR, FNMA DU, OSI/BISYS).

Responsibilities

• Provide servicing support for residential, consumer, and commercial loans.
• Book new loans and process payments in the main system; manage payoffs and loan billing.
• Maintain and organize loan files; generate recurring and special reports.
• Determine additional information needed to service loan files and respond to inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with document retention standards and security of loan documents.
