Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of bankruptcy laws, FDCPA, TCPA and SCRA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; active listening.

Responsibilities

• Collects on delinquent loans through inbound/outbound calls and letters.
• Identifies reasons for delinquency and offers personalized payment options.
• Negotiates repayment plans and tracks progress in collection systems.
• Maintains compliance with federal/state regulations and Credit Union policies.
• Documents all conversations and performs file maintenance as needed.
• May perform advanced research, skip tracing, and refer complex cases.
