Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of previous related experience required.
• Previous financial institution or credit union experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects on loans in delinquency and identifies the cause of non-payment.
• Negotiates payment arrangements or repayment plans to resolve delinquent loans.
• Documents conversations and collections activity in systems; may fund workout loans or run reports.
• Maintains adherence to federal and state regulations and credit union policies.
• Performs file maintenance and makes adjustments to loans as needed.
• Recommends workout options and refers complex cases to appropriate resources.
• Contributes to departmental projects and reports as assigned.
• May perform advanced research, skip tracing and asset searches.
