Job summary

BankPlus in Ridgeland, MS is seeking a loan processing professional to review pre-closing packages, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate documentation for loan processing and closings. The role involves collaborating with loan officers, assistants, and attorneys to gather necessary information.

Responsibilities include reviewing HMDA data, ordering insurance, and assisting with Closing Disclosure accuracy, with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or two years’ experience working with real estate loans.
• General computer and typing experience Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Review Pre-Closing loan packages for all regulatory and policy requirements.
• Request hazard and/or flood insurance and order Preliminary Title Opinion from the attorney.
• Ensure HMDA information is correct.
• Assist the attorney to ensure that Closing Disclosure is correct.
• Communicate with Loan Officers/Assistants requesting missing information or documentation to ensure that all information necessary for document processing has been obtained.
• Review applications accurately and consistently in a timely manner.
