Job summary

BankFirst Financial Services in Mississippi seeks an experienced Loan Documentation Specialist to perform pre-closing reviews of consumer and select commercial loans, verify terms, and prepare closing packages within turnaround standards.

You will ensure compliance with documentation requirements and bank policy, coordinate with lenders and third-party services, and support training and policy initiatives across BankFirst markets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in consumer and commercial loan documentation.
• Broad knowledge of loan compliance and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Verify loan documents required to support approved terms and conditions.
• Prepare documentation for all new, renewal and modified loans.
• Produce complete, accurate and enforceable loan document packages including notes, loan agreements, security agreements and financing statements.
• Assist with third-party services including UCC filings and searches, flood determinations, and Secretary of State standings.
• Serve as a resource to lending personnel on documentation, policy or procedural issues.
• Notify lenders of potential problems and recommend resolutions.
• Participate in training sessions, webinars and projects related to pre-closing and compliance.
• Provide support to Department Manager and assist with training and bank initiatives.
