Job summary

Sunwest Bank in Meridian, Idaho seeks a Loan Operations Specialist to manage servicing and operational aspects of the loan portfolio and partner with bank teams to deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.

Key duties include ensuring timely payment processing, verifying loan file completeness, handling non-accruals and charge-offs, reviewing outside counsel loan documents, processing recoveries, and managing collateral and flood insurance with strict adherence to

Qualifications

• Ability to provide courteous, knowledgeable and professional customer service in person and over the phone.
• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and internet navigation.
• Accurate data entry into multiple software systems.
• Knowledge of loan processing practices for Commercial, Real Estate and Consumer loans.
• Familiarity with loan files and documents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely completion of payment processing.
• Verifies completeness and accuracy of all loan files with necessary documentation and signatures.
• Process Non-Accrual and charge-off transactions.
• Review Outside Counsel Loan Documents.
• Process loan recoveries.
• Process incoming demand requests, wires and payoffs, release of collateral.
• Follow up and tracking of collateral and flood insurance.
• Maintain collateral files and documentation.
• Weekly, Monthly and Annual GL Balancing & Reconciliation as needed.
• Board loans of a complex nature ensuring accuracy of the loan data.
• Assist in callback duties for loan payments, advances and new loans.
• Follow up on servicing tickler reports.
• Provide feedback and assist new hires as needed.
• Assist with Documentation and Loan Boarding as needed.
