Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Loan Officer Associate to support Loan Officers and learn the mortgage process from application to closing. You will participate in formal training, pricing, and stay current on licensing and RESPA compliance while assisting with file setup and communications.

The role emphasizes customer-centric service, team collaboration, and flexible scheduling to accommodate meetings with borrowers, real estate partners, and internal staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a BA/BS is preferred.
• Experience in mortgage or banking environments is a plus.
• Must possess strong customer service and communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in formal training programs covering lending basics and pricing.
• Assist Loan Officers and Division Managers to support the mortgage process from application to closing.
• Update loan applications and maintain notes in the LOS for complete information exchange.
• Engage with builders and realtors to support local marketing and relationships.
• Serve as a primary contact for borrowers and coordinate meetings as needed.
• Support processors and closers in gathering loan documents; work flexibly including weekends/evenings.
