Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking Loader Operators to run front-end loaders and other heavy equipment, moving sand, gravel and cement to keep the plant flowing. You will load and unload trucks, work with your crew to stay on schedule, and perform basic equipment checks to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience operating loaders or heavy equipment is preferred but training is available.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safety-focused mindset.
• Team-oriented with good communication and reliability.
• Willing to learn and adapt to plant procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move materials and keep concrete flowing.
• Load/unload trucks, hoppers, bins and conveyors to ensure material availability.
• Work with crew to maintain schedules and safety practices.
• Inspect equipment before/after shifts and report any issues.
• Follow safety rules, wear PPE, and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory counting and material replenishment.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to improve operations.
