Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Warehouse Load-Out Coordinator to oversee the accurate and timely shipment of furniture from our distribution center. This role acts as the essential link between warehouse operations and delivery teams, ensuring smooth workflows and precise documentation.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in warehouse or logistics roles, with a preference for experience handling large items and coordinating loading operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain, or business administration preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving operations.
• Experience with furniture or large item handling preferred.
• Previous experience coordinating loading operations or dock management a plus.
• Familiarity with delivery route planning or sequencing beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily furniture loading operations with delivery drivers and warehouse staff.
• Verify order accuracy against customer invoices and delivery manifests.
• Manage load sequencing to optimize delivery routes and protect merchandise.
• Process shipping documentation and maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems.
• Monitor load quality standards and ensure proper packaging/protection of furniture items.
• Resolve loading discrepancies and coordinate product substitutions or backorders.
