Coordinates and manages the furniture load out process to ensure accurate, timely shipment of products to customers and retail locations. This role serves as the critical link between warehouse operations and delivery teams, maintaining efficient workflow and accurate documentation.
Coordinate daily furniture loading operations with delivery drivers and warehouse staff
Verify order accuracy against customer invoices and delivery manifests
Manage load sequencing to optimize delivery routes and protect merchandise
Process shipping documentation and maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems
Monitor load quality standards and ensure proper packaging/protection of furniture items
Resolve loading discrepancies and coordinate product substitutions or backorders
Education
High school diploma or GED required
Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain, or business administration preferred
Experience
2-3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving operations
Experience with furniture or large item handling preferred
Previous experience coordinating loading operations or dock management a plus
Familiarity with delivery route planning or sequencing beneficial
This position is located in an active industrial manufacturing and distribution center with moderate to high noise levels, temperature variations, and material handling equipment in operation. The role may require extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel‑toed boots. The fast‑paced environment involves time‑sensitive and safety sensitive operations and may include various shift schedules to support production and distribution needs.
