Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Leave of Absence Senior Specialist to support centralized LOA processes and provide a positive employee experience. You will work with employees, HR Business Partners and third-party administrators to ensure accurate leave management and timely communication.

The role requires HIPAA and FMLA knowledge, strong attention to detail, and solid HRIS experience. A collaborative, customer-focused approach is essential in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience administering LOA programs.
• Minimum of 3 years experience using an HRIS.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA, FMLA and related laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage LOA administration end-to-end.
• Respond to LOA inquiries from employees, managers and HR.
• Coordinate with HR and Managers to ensure informed experience.
• Partner with third-party administrator to track approvals and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with return-to-work processes for employees returning from leave.
• Act as SME with LOA knowledge and escalate when needed.
• Ensure LOA actions are accurately processed in all systems and payroll.
• Communicate timelines and documentation requirements to employees and HRBPs.
• Assist in onboarding and integration of LOA Specialists.
• Other duties as assigned.
